Summer 2022 is upon us!

Hello, and thanks for your interest in the Woodland Hills Swim Club! The Club was established in 1974 as a nonprofit run by a board of directors to operate the pool located in the center of our neighborhood. Anyone residing in the Woodland Hills area can apply to be a member and membership applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis until the membership limit outlined by our insurance policy is reached. An update from the Board of Directors

Hello Woodland Hills Swim Club members and prospective members, As some of you may know, the current board took over operations of the Swim Club before the 2018 season. When we took over, the pool was in need of serious repairs and had failed to open the summer of 2017. A pool company had been contacted by the previous board and they quoted a permanent fix at around $40k. When the current board took over, the Swim Club was out of money and the pool was broken. The board deliberated about what to do and decided that instead of embarking on a big fundraising campaign to hire a pool company to fix the pool, we would endeavor to fix it ourselves. We consulted with a few contractors and undertook an extensive DIY repair project in the spring of 2018. The repair involved grinding out a massive crack that essentially goes around the entire pool slightly below the water line. After that we mixed a concrete patch similar to the original gunite and we patched the entire pool, pressure washed eve
